Chitown Party Bus describes a broader 3-to-5-hour minimum industry pattern and separately flags gratuity (15-20%), cleaning fees, and fuel surcharges as add-ons some companies apply. Ask directly whether gratuity, tolls, and fuel are already in the quoted number, since the two operators we read handle this differently.

Alcohol and age rules in Illinois

Illinois's vehicle code, 625 ILCS 5/11-502(c) (read 2026-09-17), states the open-container prohibition "shall not apply to the passengers in a limousine when it is being used for purposes for which a limousine is ordinarily used, the passengers on a chartered bus when it is being used for purposes for which chartered buses are ordinarily used." The same subsection is explicit that "the driver of any such vehicle is prohibited from consuming or having any alcoholic liquor in or about the driver's area." Put simply: passengers on a properly operated chartered bus are exempt; the driver never is, and everyone riding still needs to be 21 to drink under Illinois's general alcohol laws.
